Oblivion comes
will you be ready?
A research institute nestled deep in Ishgard, dedicated to the study, recovery and preservation of dangerous artifacts, the practices of forbidden magicks from Black Magic to Necromancy and everything inbetween, and unconventional science inspired by the Allagan, Garlean and, more recently, Alexandrian Empires.A place for bright minds shunned by society, for students who looked too long into the abyss, for the free-thinking and entrepreneurial scientists who are not constrained by such things as "morals" and "ethics"
in their work.
Power, knowledge, progress
Our Enclave of Free-Thinkers is nestled away between the Empyreum and Brume districts of Ishgard. Registered with the House of Commons and Holy See as a private school, the Oblivion Enclave holds a much darker purpose, empowering the disenfranchised with the might of magi from ages past and present and arming them against the inevitable coming Oblivion.
Arcanima, Thaumaturgy, Void Magicks, Black Magic, Necromancy, Divination
Expertly crafted warding protects and insulates our classrooms, with centuries of knowledge stored in our library, our Ravenscar Room can withstand anything from drastic elemental blasts to minor voidgates tearing into reality around them. Power is here for the taking, for those bold enough to grasp it.

Magitek Engineering, Biochemical Weaponry, Prosthetic enhancements, hypertuning
With the accumulated resources of several Garlean assets and refugees, numerous Sharlyan-educated scholars, an expansive and expensive library and now venturing into the science and magic of the New World, The Oblivion Enclave is the perfect place for any mad genius to unleash their inner Midas upon the world.
Forging students in steel
We have a rough-and-ready 'gymnasium', set up for students to settle their differences, test their skills and vent their frustrations on each other as well as a soon-to-come syllabus of monster fights!

Coming together, for better or worse
The students and researchers of Oblivion occasionally need some time to unwind, socialize, and have clandestine meetings in shady, hidden booths. For this, the Enclave is equipped with a top-of-the-line bar and lounge.
Whatever you need to further your plans
The Enclave also boasts a suite of other weapons testing, educational and medical facilities open to any capable mage, scientist or engineer who is bold enough to use them or possessed of wisdom to share.

Strife brings success
Through their perilous journeys and interpersonal trials, the Enclave's management has changed hands. Now, in the wake of a dark magic mutiny, strife lingers in the ranks. With one part of the Enclave focusing on studies abroad and the collection of magical relics, and the other led by their former Headmaster, who gathers his own allies in his exile to strike back from the shadows against those who usurped his organization. Now, in this new dusk, there is room for people from all walks of life through our doors.
Research, study, exploration, spellcraft
Some of the Enclave's main division: Zozovachi Mamavachi - Technologian Extraordinaire, John Ulverton - Dark Magic Professor, Trillium Treausette - Mortician /Doctor and Myrtle Brisley - Botanist and veteran Student

Science, Vengeance, Conquest
The shadowy subdivision of Oblivion, outcast from their comrades due to a schism in leadership, these individuals harbour dark pasts and darker motivations, acting in the dark against those who usurped them. Some of the current roster include
Raylan bas Corvus - Hypertuned Killer for Hire, Professor Castiel Duskborn - Vengeful Scientist/Sorcerer, Serafina Onyx - Ishgardian Woman of Mystery and Marit Penumbra - Cybernetic Shinobi.
